Ingress Overview

First lets install the AWS Load Balancer controller using helm:

$ helm repo add eks-charts https://aws.github.io/eks-charts
$ helm upgrade --install aws-load-balancer-controller eks-charts/aws-load-balancer-controller \
  --version "${LBC_CHART_VERSION}" \
  --namespace "kube-system" \
  --set "clusterName=${EKS_CLUSTER_NAME}" \

Currently there are no Ingress resources in our cluster, which you can check with the following command:

$ kubectl get ingress -n ui
No resources found in ui namespace.

There are also no Service resources of type LoadBalancer, which you can confirm with the following command:

$ kubectl get svc -n ui
